Villa Chigi (later called Farnesina) in the Lungara – Exclusive tour
Visit the small garden and the villa. Inside there are beautiful frescoes from the early Renaissance (noteworthy is the Loggia of love and Psyche painted by Raphael). The frescoes in the Renaissance vault on the ground floor represent an ideal garden with 170 types of plants then known, which they came to Rome from all over the world. For the first time American pumpkins also appear. At the moment there is also a beautiful exhibition on Renaissance flowers and plants (engravings and drawings)
